A nice cafe style table with assorted chairs.
1. First of all we are going to create one of the back legs. To do that draw simple 3 step line in left viewport.
2.Now create front leg on same way and create chamfered box for carry weight plank. You can see in perspective a result. Just be sure that your box have multi polygons.
3. For better shape apply FFD 2x2x2 box and move Control Lattices like in this picture.
4.Like as I showed in this picture move just a little bit upper vertex.
5.Create 3 plank holders like this.
6.Now draw 4 small plank holders for better ‘’laid in rest’’.
7. And these bottom holders…
8.Now we must draw hand rests. To do that just use method from last steps and follow picture below.
9. To give it a little more life apply Editable Mesh and go down to Soft Selection, change foloff value and create something like in the next picture.
10.To complete chair just mirror left hand rest.
11. Now create top part of coffee table by creating simple cylinder.
12.With simple line modeling create this 3 legs for table.
13.And off course you must have holders for these legs, so create 3 circles to hold them.
14.Here is material for chair and top table part. You can pick any Wood texture that you have.
15. Here is material for table legs and holders.
16. After all this work you should get something like this, off course this is mine setup, you can do to it every thing you like.
17.Create stand for this test render by creating cylinder and two circle shapes and apply wood material to it. Detach top polygon from cylinder and apply some kind of stone floor to it.
18.Here is final setup for this picture. I used some models from my library to fill out table, so you can do that to.
19.Chose Vray sun as your light source and change only sun intensity multiplier to 0.002.
20.Go to Materials and chose Vray Sky from new materials and pick Vray sun as your sun node. Change sun intensity multiplier to 0.006.
21.Here are the setting for render. Just make sure that copy VraySky to skylight map in Environment rollout. You can use any HDR for reflection map.
Final rendering.
Ok, enjoy it!
